Team Liquid release siuhy from Counter-Strike 2 roster
The Polish in-game leader leaves after 16 months, during which Liquid failed to reach a Major playoff.

Team Liquid have released Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek into free agency, opening a vacancy in the organisation’s Counter-Strike 2 roster after a difficult 16-month tenure.
The departure follows a July change in leadership, when Liquid benched siuhy and brought in Johnny “JT” Theodosiou as in-game leader.
Liquid have not named a replacement for the Polish player.
siuhy initially joined Liquid in April 2025 on loan from MOUZ, taking charge as IGL after the organisation’s previous eras led by Casper “cadiaN” Møller and Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken.
Despite arriving with promise from his time at MOUZ, he was unable to find a winning formula at Liquid.
The team’s best result during his tenure was a top-four finish at FISSURE Playground #2.
Liquid did not reach the playoffs at any of the three Majors it contested during that spell and recorded a 5-11 record in games at CS2’s most important events.
His individual numbers also reflected a challenging run: siuhy finished his Liquid tenure with a 0.87 rating across 185 maps.
The figures underline the scale of the reset that preceded his move into free agency.
Liquid’s leadership change came after the organisation had struggled to convert its roster into consistent results, despite what Dust2.us described as several strong pieces around siuhy.
The release concludes a process that began with his benching, rather than marking the first change to the team’s plans.
The move comes amid ongoing roster construction across Counter-Strike, with 100 Thieves’ Counter-Strike roster rebuild another example of an organisation reshaping its lineup.
siuhy is now available to pursue a future team, while Liquid must address the open place left by his departure.
No replacement or next tournament commitment was identified in the report, leaving the organisation’s next roster step unconfirmed.
Liquid have handled lineup changes across different esports titles, including the midOne roster vacancy in Dota 2.
