EA Sports has released a Squad Building Challenge for Pascal Groß's Premier League Player of the Month card in EA FC 27.

The challenge requires an 18,750 Item Score to redeem and costs around 18,400 Coins to complete, with the untradeable special card available for approximately three weeks.

The 84-rated card features 88 Passing as its standout attribute, with 89 Crossing, 89 Curve, and 88 Vision.

It comes with the Incisive Pass, Long Ball Pass, Tiki Taka, and Whipped Pass PlayStyles.

"His phenomenal 90 Composure and 86 Ball Control easily make up for it," the guide notes, addressing the card's 76 Pace and 74 Agility.

Defensively, the card has 77 Interceptions and 82 Defensive Awareness, supported by 88 Stamina.

The card also has the All Roles++ trait for both central midfield and defensive midfield positions and a four-star weak foot.

Gross won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September after recording five goal involvements, with two goals and three assists.

The 35-year-old Brighton midfielder began the month with a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over Coventry City.

He then opened the scoring against Arsenal and set up Chema Andrés for a goal in the 3-0 win over the champions.

At 35 years and three months old, Gross is the sixth-oldest player to win the award.

Only Stuart Pearce and Teddy Sheringham, both aged 38, Cristiano Ronaldo, aged 37, Gianfranco Zola, aged 36, and Paul Scholes, who was 35 years and nine months old, rank ahead of him.

Gross beat his teammate Charalampos Kostoulas, Mohamed Belloumi of Hull City, Jayden Bogle of Leeds United, Alexander Isak and Jeremy Jacquet of Liverpool, Kevin Schade of Brentford, and Antoine Semenyo of Manchester City for the honor.

Among veteran winners, he sits just ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who won it at 35 years and two months old.

"This SBC is an absolute must-do if you are running a Premier League squad," the guide states.

"For such a low price, you are getting a Dead Ball specialist and a midfield maestro who will easily dominate the pitch with Incisive Pass, Long Ball Pass, Tiki Taka, and Whipped Pass PlayStyles for the next few weeks."

The guide adds that his shooting stats are decent, with 83 Shot Power, 80 Long Shots, and the Power Shot PlayStyle.

"The three-star skill moves are a slight letdown," the guide notes, but concludes that the card offers fantastic value for early Ultimate Team setups.

"I highly recommend finishing this SBC before the three weeks run out, even if you just use him as high-rated fodder for a bigger SBC later on," the guide recommends.
