Teams agree to ban Tubarão-Noor combo at BLAST R6 Major Osaka
All 20 teams at the event have pledged not to use a newly discovered, game-changing interaction between two operators.

All 20 teams competing at the BLAST R6 Major Osaka have agreed not to use a newly discovered mechanic involving the operators Tubarão and Noor.
The agreement was made official by Team Liquid Alienware's in-game leader Felipe "FelipoX" Lucia shortly after the match between KINGZERO eSports and Dplus KIA began.
Players initially believed the interaction between the two operators' gadgets was a bug, but BLAST confirmed with Ubisoft that it was an intended and legal feature.
"Yesterday, everyone was caught by surprise by a gamechanger mechanic that was not notified anywhere, not even on the latest game patch notes," FelipoX explained.
"When asked by multiple teams if this was an intentional interaction, BLAST confirmed with Ubisoft that it is, which is quite weird, as these gadgets never worked this way and no one knew or was told about this change."
Faced with the unexpected change, various teams proposed a gentlemen's agreement, which eventually gained unanimous support from all 20 squads.
Such agreements are not new to Rainbow Six Siege esports; at the Six Invitational 2019, teams agreed not to use Caveira due to a bug affecting her hitbox and movement.
That agreement was broken by Mock-It Esports against Team Liquid, creating a controversial moment remembered as the "nice Caveira play" due to Guilherme "gohaN" Alf's reaction.
FelipoX noted these agreements exist in other esports but are new to Siege, adding, "This is something that already exists in other esports scenes, but is new to Siege and I hope and trust that every team honor the agreement."
Gentlemen's agreements are made between players and teams and are not supervised by tournament organizers, meaning admins and referees cannot stop a team from breaking the pact with no immediate consequences.
The BLAST R6 Osaka Major is the final Rainbow Six Siege Major of 2026, featuring a $600,000 prize pool and Six Invitational points.
