EA FC 27 releases Sydney Schertenleib Showdown SBC with live UWCL upgrade
The Barcelona midfielder's 84-rated card can be upgraded based on the result of the club's UWCL match against Arsenal.
The Sydney Schertenleib Showdown Squad Building Challenge is now live in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team.
The SBC requires players to submit a squad with a 16,000 Item Score and expires in four days.
Picking up nine 85-rated cards at 900 Coins apiece does most of the heavy lifting for your total score while keeping your coin outlay low.
Adding two 86-rated players at 5,000 Coins and one 82-rated filler card at 650 Coins would cost you a total of 18,750 Coins at the transfer market.
However, you can lower the required amount by using unwanted or duplicate cards available in your club.
At roughly 18,750 Coins, completing the Sydney Schertenleib Showdown SBC is an absolute bargain in EA FC 27.
Her 84-rated item features an even 84 Pace, 84 Dribbling, and 82 Passing.
Upon pairing those attributes with the Pinged Pass and Technical PlayStyles, she transitions the ball effortlessly through tight spaces.
She also holds her own defensively with 83 Defending, the Intercept PlayStyle, and 77 Physical, backed by 82 Stamina, 85 Jumping, and 76 Strength.
While her 4-Star Weak Foot, 84 Positioning, and 84 Long Shots are handy from distance, her 3-Star Skill Moves, 74 Shooting, and 75 Composure mean you should use her as a box-to-box creator rather than a primary finisher.
What truly makes this card special for your squad is that she holds All Roles++ across CM, CDM, CAM, LM, and RB, letting you slot her into almost any formation with maximum tactical familiarity.
Since her Showdown item is tied to Barcelona's real-life clash against Arsenal in UWCL, a Barcelona win grants her a +1 OVR upgrade, while a draw secures a +1 PlayStyle upgrade.
Overall, I highly recommend unlocking the Sydney Schertenleib Showdown card before it expires, as getting All Roles++ across five different positions for under 19,000 Coins is unmatched value in EA FC 27.
With Barcelona heavily favored to earn her live Showdown upgrade, she is a no-brainer for Liga F squads or as a versatile super-sub.
