MSI has unveiled a limited-edition GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card themed around the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.

The MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G COD MW4 EDITION OC, developed in partnership with Activision, features a black-and-yellow shroud themed around the Task Force 141 operator Ghost.

The card goes on sale October 23, 2026, through MSI's E-SHOP and a short list of participating resellers in selected countries, which is the same day Modern Warfare 4 itself launches.

MSI has not published a suggested retail price, has not confirmed how many cards will be produced, and has not detailed clock speeds, power draw, physical dimensions, or connector layout specific to this SKU.

"The announcement covers design and availability," according to the reporting notes, which add that "everything else sits in a gap MSI has chosen not to fill yet, at least publicly."

The design includes cooling fins painted yellow across the shroud, a choice TweakTown flagged as the card's most visually aggressive departure from MSI's usual black-and-gray aesthetic.

The backplate carries a metal plate with a transparent cutout that exposes part of the circuit board while framing a portrait of Ghost, rendered in the character's signature skull mask.

MSI is also including a matching GPU support bracket in the box, which the notes describe as "a small accessory that keeps a heavy card from sagging in the PCIe slot over time."

Guru3D's writeup described the overall look as "a clear attempt to make the card feel like Call of Duty merchandise first and a graphics card second."

The card pairs NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 16 GB of memory, matching the core configuration found on MSI's standard RTX 5080 16G Gaming Trio OC White.

The closest pricing reference is MSI's own RTX 5080 Mandalorian and Grogu Edition OC, a Star Wars-themed card released earlier that sold for 1,599.90 euro on MSI's French storefront.

Standard RTX 5080 cards without licensed branding typically sell below that figure in most markets.

A report attributed to KitGuru, cited by TweakTown, said as few as 200 units might reach the European market, a figure MSI has not confirmed.

MSI has not said how many units it plans to build worldwide, whether the United States gets a meaningful allocation, or whether it plans a second production run if demand outstrips the first.

Specifications such as boost clock speed, total board power, PCIe power connector configuration, physical length and weight, and cooler fan count remain unconfirmed for this SKU.

The notes state that "readers should not assume those numbers match any other RTX 5080 model MSI sells."

Outlets including TechPowerUp, Guru3D, TweakTown, and VideoCardz confirmed the announcement within hours of each other, but none of them could confirm a price.

The reporting notes conclude that "buyers chasing the card should budget for a premium tied to the design and the limited run rather than any performance gain, because there isn't one."
