Karmine Corp sweeps CTBC Flying Oyster to stay alive at Worlds 2026
The French side moves to 2-2 in the Swiss Stage, needing one more win to reach the quarter-finals.

Karmine Corp swept CTBC Flying Oyster 2-0 on Thursday to stay alive in the Swiss Stage of the League of Legends World Championship 2026.
The victory moves the French-based side to a 2-2 record, leaving one best-of-three win between them and the quarter-finals.
KC took the first game of the Round 4 tie in 28 minutes and closed out the second in 37 minutes, according to GosuGamers.
The result ends a run of two straight defeats for KC after an opening victory over Anyone’s Legend.
CTBC Flying Oyster, the higher seed, had first pick in the opening game, but KC dominated the first map, finishing with 18 kills to CFO's three.
The loss eliminates CFO, the last team from the LCP region, as it was their third match loss in the Swiss format.
Their Worlds run began with a win over Team Liquid, followed by losses to Movistar KOI and T1.
KC reached the Swiss Stage through the Play-In, where they edged Cloud9 in a five-game series and then swept MVK Esports twice.
Redington Cybersport reported in October that Karmine Corp swept MVK Esports to reach the Worlds 2026 main stage.
The team's roster consists of Canna, Yike, Busio, Caliste and Kyeahoo.
A team advances to the Knockout Stage upon reaching three match wins, meaning one more victory would send KC through while another defeat would end their campaign.
The final Swiss Stage decider for KC will be held in Allen, Texas, on Saturday against an opponent yet to be confirmed.
The quarter-finals run from November 3 to 6, with the final scheduled for November 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for a share of the $5 million prize pool.
