The Corner Store Restaurant Opens at Las Vegas Cosmopolitan in November
The New York restaurant's first expansion will feature an expanded steak program and be overseen by chefs from Catch Steak New York.

The Corner Store will open its first location outside New York at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Nov. 9, 2026.
The restaurant, operated by Catch Hospitality Group, will take over the former Blue Ribbon American Grill & Oyster Bar space on the resort's third floor.
The menu features raised American classics, including Lobster & Caviar Rolls, Five Cheese Pizza Rolls, The Corner Store Caesar, and a Wagyu French Dip made with 72-hour slow-roasted ribeye.
The Las Vegas location adds an expanded steak program called the Butcher's Counter, offering cuts such as a Rosewood Ranch Wagyu Tomahawk and Wagyu Porterhouse, along with crudos, salads and shared plates.
Chef Michael Vignola will oversee the culinary program with Las Vegas executive chef Daniel Bernardo, who previously worked together at Catch Steak New York.
The restaurant was designed by Rockwell Group and includes a main bar, a dedicated Martini Room, a dining room inspired by vintage train cars, and a private dining room for up to 24 guests.
Hours will be Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m.–10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday, 5 p.m., late.
Catch Hospitality Group is the company led by billionaire Tilman Fertitta, who is currently in the process of purchasing Caesars Entertainment, and Eugene Remm.
In other Las Vegas dining news, Durango Casino & Resort is showing the door to three underperforming tenants of its Eat Your Heart Out food hall.
The L.A. deli-inspired Uncle Paulie's closed Wednesday (Sept. 30) and will host a rotisserie of pop-ups until a new concept is selected.
Also closing will be Yu-Or-Mi Sushi and both Vesta Coffee Roasters locations, in the food hall and the lobby, all on Nov. 10.
All the independent brands opened along with the casino resort on Dec. 5, 2023.
None of their replacements has been named yet.
The closures, which affect only the restaurants' Durango outlets, come as Station Casinos plans development on the casino's northern side that will add a larger food hall, luxury movie theaters, a bowling venue, and a second location of the San Diego country-themed nightlife concept Moonshine Flats.
Las Vegas was recently ranked eighth best city in WalletHub's 2026 analysis of 182 U.S. cities.
The Top 7 were Miami, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Orlando, and Tampa.
The study evaluated cities on diversity, accessibility, quality of food options, and affordability.
WalletHub used data from federal agencies, nonprofit research groups, and travel platforms to assess each city's food landscape.
Las Vegas's placement reflects its broad mix of dining options, from long-running steakhouses and buffets to fine-dining venues and specialty concepts.
The owners of a mysterious new Chinatown restaurant installed their permanent sign last week above the former Pepper Lunch space next to Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.
According to permit sleuthing from hyperlocal Vegas food news source chinatownvegas.com, one of the Oak & Yolk's two co-owners shares a name (Thanasit Nanthasitsira) as well as a home city with the co-owner of San Mateo, California Asian brunch spot Taste & Glory.
So there could be a culinary connection.
