Valorant crosshair code claims spread during Champions tournament

A viral social media post claimed a specific crosshair code guarantees headshots in Valorant, sparking discussion during the ongoing Champions tournament.

"Copy this crosshair and DO NOT QUESTION IT ❗️ It will make headshots a 100% easier 🔥," the account @ValorantUpdated posted.

Crosshair settings only change visual elements like color, size, and the gap between the lines, and cannot affect hit registration, which runs entirely on Riot Games' servers.

Such claims tend to spike whenever a major tournament pulls extra eyes to the game, and Champions has done exactly that this week.

Even so, the replies answered with enthusiasm instead of doubt.

"I would legit go back to playing valorant every now and then if they added this as a feature 😂," user @PixelianGaming said.

The same day, @ValorantUpdated made a separate, unverified claim about omitted patch notes, writing, "They didn’t mention this in the Patch Notes… #VALORANT."

No patch number showed up in the claim, and no screenshot of the actual change followed.

Riot Games has not answered the claim on any official channel as of this writing, which leaves it sitting as an unconfirmed rumor rather than a fact.

One reply turned the mystery into a joke instead of pushing back on it.

"my tamagotchi’s been dead for weeks and this patch note snub got me feeling like i should just let it stay that way," @TamagochiTg posted.

While the crosshair code closed out its own replies in memes, the actual tournament kept delivering results worth talking about.

Valorant Champions has held center stage all week, and @ValorantEsports flagged one result as historic.

Fans answered with real emotion instead of jokes.

On Friday, September 25, the account vinfo_mobile posted a ‘Flex’ in-game overview from Valorant Mobile.

No release date came attached to the clip. The timing, landing right alongside Champions, kept the mobile port in the conversation without adding a single new fact about when it actually ships.

Riot’s patch notes still read the same as they did before Saturday. The crosshair code will keep getting copied anyway. Champions keeps running its bracket, no rumor required.
