EA FC 27 Launches Xavi Espart Future Stars Squad Building Challenge
The 85-rated card offers high pace and defensive versatility for a reported cost of under 37,000 coins.

The Xavi Espart Future Stars Squad Building Challenge is now live in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team, offering a major defensive boost for players.
"This exciting challenge offers exactly that with incredible versatility and solid in-game attributes," the notes state, positioning it as a cost-effective squad addition.
Players have exactly seven days to complete the challenge before it expires.
The requirements are described as "incredibly straightforward," demanding only that a submitted squad reach a specific 34,000 Item Score threshold.
One reported solution using common fodder cards on the transfer market estimates a total cost of 36,900 coins to buy all required 84-rated players.
The reward is a special 85-rated Xavi Espart card with high pace ratings of 88 pace and 87 acceleration.
His versatility is highlighted as a key feature, with Roles++ at left back, right back, central defensive mid, and central mid.
"You can plug him into almost any defensive or midfield position smoothly," the notes say.
Defensively, the card has 82 defending, 83 interceptions, and 83 stand tackle, which the notes claim "will win the ball back consistently for your team."
His distribution is supported by 87 short passing, 83 vision, and the Tiki Taka PlayStyle, while the Quick Step and Jockey PlayStyles are noted to enhance his movement.
The evaluation notes minor downsides, including a 75 stamina and 74 physical rating, meaning "you might need to substitute him late in a competitive match."
His 64 shooting and 66 finishing also suggest "you should keep him far away from the opponent's penalty box."
The card's potential is tied to the Future Stars upgrade system, where he can earn a five-star weak foot, an extra PlayStyle, and a plus two overall rating boost.
"Considering the total cost is extremely low, completing the Xavi Espart Future Stars SBC in EA FC 27 is absolutely worth it," the notes conclude, recommending the challenge.
Redington Cybersport reported in October that the Future Stars promo features young talents who receive in-game upgrades based on real-world performances.
