Riyadh Falcons

Origins as Paris Legion

The team's journey began as the Paris Legion, one of the first five city franchises announced for the Call of Duty League in 2019. Despite being an early entrant, it was the last to reveal its branding in November 2019. The initial roster featured Denz, KiSMET, Louqa, Shockz, and Zed. They started the 2020 season as underdogs but quickly made a mark with surprise wins over OpTic Gaming LA and the London Royal Ravens. Their success was short lived, however, and they finished the season with an 11 17 record and an early playoff exit, leading to the release of the entire squad.

For the 2021 season, Paris rebuilt with players Skrapz, Aqua, Classic, and Fire40. Fire40 was soon replaced by Temp, and later, Classic was traded to Seattle Surge for Zaptius. The changes did not yield better results, and after another disappointing season, the roster was overhauled again for the Vanguard title year. The new lineup of John, Decemate, Felo, and Temp also struggled, prompting mid season changes that saw GRVTY and Jimbo join the team.

Relocation to Las Vegas

In June 2022, the organization announced a major move, relocating from Paris to Las Vegas for the 2023 Call of Duty League season. The shift was made official in September 2022, with the team rebranding as the Vegas Legion. This move marked the end of the franchise's European chapter and its full integration into the North American esports scene.

Acquisition by Team Falcons

A significant transformation occurred in August 2024 when the Saudi esports organization Team Falcons acquired the CDL slot. The team was renamed the Vegas Falcons, signaling new ownership. Team Falcons, founded in 2017, is a major Saudi organization with teams in many esports. Upon acquisition, they announced a new starting roster of Exnid, Khhx, KingAbody, and Roxas, with LewTee as head coach. Later in 2024, the coaching staff was bolstered by the addition of three time Call of Duty world champion Clayster.

The 2025 season began turbulently for the Vegas Falcons. After failing to win a match in the first two stages, head coach LewTee was fired in March 2025. The roster saw constant changes, with Khhx, KingAbody, and Roxas being benched and replaced by academy players D7oom, WXSL, and KiinG. In a major shift in April 2025, the team benched almost the entire roster except Exnid and signed former world champions Arcitys, Pred, and Preistahh.

Establishment as Riyadh Falcons

The franchise's journey culminated in a return to its owner's roots in September 2025. The organization relocated from Las Vegas to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was rebranded as the Riyadh Falcons. This move firmly planted the team as a flagship franchise for the growing Saudi esports market. To strengthen the squad further, the team announced the signing of star player Cellium, completing a roster built around experienced champions.

Team Falcons Organization

The Riyadh Falcons are part of the larger Team Falcons ecosystem, a leading Saudi esports organization established in 2017. Known formerly as Falcons Esports, the organization competes in a wide array of esports titles and has participated in over a thousand tournaments globally. The parent organization promotes itself as Saudi Arabia's premier esports team competing on the world stage, having also claimed championships at the Esports World Cup.
